This recording is a portrayal through music of the Church?s year, featuring repertoire associated with times and seasons which choristers might encounter when singing the liturgy. Many of the pieces are treble solos or anthems with treble solos within them, showing off the versatility of the treble voice and the wide-ranging repertoire in use at Arundel Cathedral?a mix of new and old, overlapping styles and composers, solo voices and small voice groupings, in celebration of the choral music of the church.

William Ferris is 14 years old and Head Chorister at Arundel Cathedral. He is a music scholar at Seaford College, where he sings in the Chapel Choir and plays the cello. He has been a chorister at Arundel for seven years, participating in RSCM events and gaining the Dean?s and Bishop?s Chorister Awards. He is currently Head Chorister of the RSCM Southern Cathedral Singers.
