A Christmas Collection presents a stockingful of seasonal music for the festivities songs, carols, and special arrangements. Choosing the programme was not easy as there is so much Christmas repertoire, but one piece was inevitable, and Keith Roberts blazing big-band arrangement does it more than justice at last Rodolfus meets Rudolph.
The Rodolfus Choir, celebrating its twentieth anniversary in 2003, consists of some of the most talented young singers from all over the UK. Recent appearances have included a performance in 2000 of the Bach B minor Mass with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (broadcast on Classic FM); another return to the Gloucester Three Choirs Festival in 2001; and in summer 2002 the Grove Park Festival in Chiswick and the Dublin International Organ and Choral Festival. The choir will tour the United States in 2003.
