Info & track listings
Hurstpierpoint College is a school of the Woodard Foundation and, as such, follows the teaching of the Church of England.
The founder, Canon Nathaniel Woodard, believed that the Chapel should be at the heart of the schools life and that Christian teaching should be a permeating influence on a pupils education, not just a matter of ceremonial observance.
As an illustration of this our CD has the Chapel and its music very much at its core. The disc, which is a celebration of the schools 150th anniversary, gives the listener a glimpse of the Colleges musical life. Items feature present music students, music scholars, and members of the Music Staff.
